It is a slightly elevated, sloping southeastern terrain. The stone rests in a pile of earth, in which two smaller stones are stuck. In the vicinity there are two more menhirs: 2.5 km east-southeast is the field preacher stone and 4.5 km southeast of the menhir <a href=\"https:\/\/www.undenk.info\/protoplace\/holey-stone\/\">Hoyerstein<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The menhir is made of quartz. Its height is 120 cm, width 300 cm and depth 40 cm. It has the shape of an irregular plate and is oriented north-south. On the top a deep cut can be seen. The east side has several driven nails. Whether the tangled stone is actually a menhir is a matter of debate among researchers.
